The GTR Summer NNL summer show and swap meet is a descendant of the Summer Plastic Meltdowns held in 2005 and 2006, see the page at left for pictures from 2005.
The GTR Summer NNL was held on Sunday, August 3rd 2008 from 9:30AM to 3:00PM at
the Algonquin Township Building, 3702 US Highway 14, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014

Admission to the show was a measly 5 bucks for as many models on the tables as you liked. We served a pizza lunch to all show entrantas part of the entry fee. There was a swap meet too, a free “trunk sale” swap meet the parking lot.
The NNL style contest bestowed “Best Of” awards in several categories as mandated by popular vote by show attendees.
